Pain Disorders

Pain is a very common experience. Fortunately, in most cases it is temporary, lasting only until the underlying problem has healed. But when it lasts longer than the anticipated recovery, it can become difficult to perform even the most basic daily activities.

You may already have a general idea of what is wrong. Most of our patients have been told by their primary physician or spine surgeon that they have arthritis, spinal stenosis, a bulging disc, a herniated disc, or degenerative disc disease. At Kentucky Pain Institute we take the time to explain your condition to you, in terms you can understand. In fact, one of the more frequent comments we get from patients is praise for helping them understand their condition better than anyone else.
